It may contain information you are looking for. The book LAUREL'S STORY. A MONTANA HERITAGE mentions Martin J. Thusen on page 692. "Martin J. Thusen, prominent stockman, farmer, and resident of Laurel for thirty years, was born in Denmark, August 23,1870. He came to America and the Yellowstone valley in 1892, and engaged in stock raising and farmed extensively at the ranch home located five miles southeast of Laurel. In 1916 he was united in marriage to Nellie Denton. At the time of his death, February 10 1922, he was survived by his wife, a brother JensThusen, and a sister of Michigan and two sisters in Denmark."
